Magic projections concert, Ensemble Baroque of Nice

The 15th and 17th of January, the Ensemble Baroque of Nice invites you to discover the Théâtre Francis Gag, a concert where the music unfolds in a dreamlike scenery revealed by the magic lantern projections. 

This is called the Baroque period, in the middle of the seventeenth century that invented the magic lantern, which allows projection in large fixed or animated Image format, giving birth to a new universe, umbra theater and light.Phantasmagoria into grotesque, Chinese d'ombres in real landscapes or dreamed, raw scientific representations of the animal world to the first geographic explorations, a private collection of magic lantern plates meet here baroque music, rich program parts, for a total spectacle, between sound and visual art performance.
