Last week, luxury Swiss watch brand Hublot continued its support of the Arts by hosting a series of unique events for watch and art aficionados alike during Miami's Art Basel. Hublot is a brand at the forefront of art and design, having partnered with a range of world-renowned artists and innovators including Romero Britto, Oscar Niemeyer, Mr. Brainwash, Carlos Cruz-Diez and more, and continues to celebrate its Art of Fusion by merging the multi-dimensional worlds of watchmaking and art.
Ricardo Guadalupe, CEO of Hublot, shared: "It was an honor to bring our brand to Miami this week to take part in the country's most coveted celebration of the Arts. At Hublot, we strive to Be First, Be Unique, and Be Different. Not only are we at the forefront of luxury timekeeping, design, and innovation, but also we constantly break the mold and offer our clients what they cannot find elsewhere. We are thrilled to bring to life the Art of Fusion concept and to celebrate with our friends here in Miami."
On Monday, November 30, Hublot kicked off its week of Hublot Loves Art by honoring famed Franco-Venezuelan artist Maestro Carlos Cruz-Diez by unveiling three limited edition Classic Fusion Cruz-Diez timepieces for which Hublot had invited the artist to adapt one of his works, Chromointerférence (1964), to the three timepieces.
On Thursday, December 3, Hublot Ambassador & Design aficionado Lapo Elkann, was feted by Hublot and Haute Living with a private dinner at Gallery Lou La Vie amidst iconic Ferraris from Lapo's collection.
Mr. Brainwash, known for creating Madonna's "Celebration" album cover, as well as his work with the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the star of Banksy's celebrated film Exit Through the Gift Shop, continued his work with Hublot. The artist wrapped multiple Miami locations in his art, including the Hublot boutique in Bal Harbour, an exterior wall of the historic Art Deco Gale Hotel in South Beach, and the Hublot Galerie in the Design District - the brand's one-of-a-kind boutique which features limited edition Hublot models from all over the world.
On Friday, December 4, Hublot Brand Ambassador Dwyane Wade and his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, welcomed Hublot top collectors, celebrities, and his friends to his home in Miami Beach for an intimate dinner to honor the brand's week-long celebration during Art Basel and Hublot Loves Art. Guests experienced the "Secret Garden" entrance to the house, which was created by Dwyane Wade's Style Director Calyann Barnett for the event-a labyrinth into which art and Hublot timepieces were integrated with models in a flower-filled tableau vivant.
Following the dinner, guests traveled by boat to the private residence of Wayne and Cynthia Boich for an after party, where they enjoyed a performance by DJ Ruckus (GQ's "most sought after DJ in the world") before Hublot unveiled a one-of-a-kind hand sculpture created by Mr. Brainwash.
On Saturday, December 5, Hublot closed its week of Art-related events and partnerships by giving back during the charity brunch for the Black Jaguar White Tiger organization at Tamarina in Miami. Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe announced a new partnership with the foundation by unveiling a gigantic Mr. Brainwash mural in the Brickell neighborhood and the announcement of a special edition Hublot timepiece in 2016. The luxury watch brand, in conjunction with Haute Living, auctioned two artworks by Friends of Hublot Romero Britto and Mr Brainwash, which raised $200,000 for the foundation.
Through the busy week of art-related ad philanthropic partnerships, Hublot continues to combine the Art of Fusion and its combination of art and luxury including in Hublot Galery Boutique.
