The Louis Vuitton Spring 2016 is a step into the cyber zone. It is futuristic yet very practical, a collection of mixing and diversity.
Nicolas Ghesquière said his inspiration was "post-cyber," and "a travel to the frontier of the digital world," with Japanese interflections from the anime character Evangelion. Of course, all these elements had the Louis Vuitton base and codes translated into a warrior style of kilts, jumpsuits, motorcycle jackets, skirts. We see a lot of belly with cropped tops associated with leather shorts. There is a lot of leather in all its forms.
The collection shows the darker side of a post war era, of a digital connected world, revealing the urban warriors.
