It was a periple around the luxury magic, and future innovations. Everything shone glamor, class and luxury. The big brands had their own "show" by their mere presence around people who were amazed. There was something for all tastes but not for every budget.
Manoj Bairstow, co-organizer of the car show in Monaco, said that the 13th edition of the event was "the best yet", with a number of unprecedented sales, both in the space dedicated to Supercars, and space devoted to watches and jewelry.
Top Marques Monaco 2016 closed last Sunday after four days of show and an endless parade of supercars on the streets of the Principality. Visitors were able to admire the most beautiful cars from around the world inside but also outside in bright sunlight and sunny skies, with temperatures up to 24 ° C.
"The 2016 TMM editionexceeded our dreams in terms of innovation and sales, we are delighted by the number of visitors who came to see the show," said Mr. Bairstow and on behalf of its partners and Steven Saltzman Mederic del Monaco.
"It's always extremely difficult to quantify the success of the show, many of our watches and jewelry exhibitors have expressed their satisfaction in terms of sales on the show, and it went well in the Supercar space."
"One exhibitor, for example, sold a piece of jewelery worth € 350.00 during the show, while another exhibitor watchmaker sold four watches in one day. In the space Ravel several exhibitors have confirmed us some sales, a manufacturer even announced we have managed to sell one of its supercars even before the event began, thanks to the publicity surrounding the show, "said Mr. Bairstow.
Approximately 42,000 visitors attended the 13th edition of Top Marques, which was inaugurated with the first public flight of the ArcaBoard, a "magic carpet" that its designers have brought straight from New Mexico. But the return trip to 11.000miles was worth it, according to its CEO, Dumitru Popescu, since the company sold two ArcaBoards during the first two days of the show for a price of $ 14,900.
One of the other highlights of the show was the Martin Jetpack, a personal jetpack, which will enter the international market in the course of 2016.
Mike Tournier, Martin Aircraft Company, based in New Zealand, commented: "Top Marques was an exceptional event for Martin Aircraft Company. Clearly there is a real attraction for new private means of transport which are both innovative, elegant and exciting."
This year, over 1,000 VIP guests and journalists were able to perform test drive on a stretch privatized Circuit F1 Grand Prix, live these trials have yet trained this year a number of direct sales at the show.
Top Marques Monaco will take place next year from 20 to 23 April 2017.
