It is a bit from everything: military, theatrical and, most of all, the Moroccan style.

For this 125th Lanvin anniversary, the designer Alber Elbaz went back to his Moroccan roots to search for inspiration.

"The idea was to start with something totally nomad and urbanize it," he said.

We can see all over the collection elements that mix together into an urban energy. There is not a clash between its inspirational elements but a synergy that puts them together into a symphony of vibes.

The designer took his inspiration from the Moroccan square buildings and transferred them into wrap skirts worn over blouses. They were adorned with embroideries and textural elements. It was the retro touch turned into a modern chic.
