As odd as it may seem, sometimes a cat is better than any other feminine model. Especially, if it is Karl Lagerfeld`s cat. In this case, everything is possible.
With her blue eyes and feline moves, Choupette is the new star for Shu Emura campaign, a beauty line for the Japanese brand.
It is known the long connection with the Japanese brand, as Karl Lagerfeld has employed Shu Emura makeup to give color to his illustrations for more than 20 years now.
The collection is a holiday makeup line called Shupette, a perfect name for a mix between the two brands. It includes among other eyelashes with quotes from the cat, "queen of catnaps".
Karl Lagerfeld fell in love with the cat when he received it to keep for the weekend. But, Karl didn`t want to give it back to the model Baptiste Giabiconi.
"I thought she was too cute. She is like a kept woman. She has a strong personality. She has lunch and dinner with me on the table, with her own food," he said. "She even knows how to use an iPad."
So, Choupette is the best choice for a beauty line, we have to be convinced!
