Julia Roberts is one of the most iconic Holywood celebrity. Her style makes a lot of us believe that what is natural goes way better in every sense. On this Ricardo Tisci based his philosophy for the Spring 2015 Givenchy campaign.
"I decided to make her more intellectual, more serious, more pure," he said. "It's a different, fresh, new way to see Julia - really cool and urban, I think." That's the image that the creative designer wanted to implement for this campaign. A real woman, less make up and more natural side, very real, very urban.
The 47 years old actress has been dressed by Givenchy since 2003. She wore some of the brand's dresses at the Oscar in 2014 or at the Osage Country premiere.
For this campaign, the actress worked with the photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for the shoot, with Katy England for the styling, Serge Normant for the hair and Genevieve Herr for the make-up.
A realistic and strong composition, I may say, with a great impact.
"I like reality in campaigns. Today I think it's very modern to be real," Tisci said. "I don't want to show only the clothes of the show, but also what you really sell.... I think it's a very honest campaign."
