It is all about having fun in life, have a laugh at yourself, take it easy. The message of Josh Duhamel at the press conference was quite evident: allow yourself to have a laugh, no matter your sexuality, religion, gender or whatsoever.
At different levels of perspective from being an actor to being a director and producer, Josh Duhamel proposes an active version of himself, as he likes it. Buddy Games is about the playful side of life. Not like the apocalyptic side he talks about, without wanting to sound pessimistic.
He said he has a house outside LA just in case LA gets blocked in some sort of catastrophic way. A house where he plots, moves rocks, rides a tractor, manly stuff that reconnects him to real life. Just to get away from these Buddy Games, now with the sequel number two. In this one, one of the buddies has died and they decide to throw his ashes somewhere he'd appreciate. They just didn't know how it would all turned out. Because Josh loves naughty and making his audience laugh at it.
Talking about pushing boundaries and finding limits, he said that he likes to try something new, everytime, and do things a bit different.
One thing for sure, they did know how to have fun finding The craziest games there is.
"To make light some of the extremes out there ... find humour in ourselves
"From the early times of my career I wanted to do it. I just didn't know if I had the knowledge"
But he did have the courage to do the next step and become director and producer, being an actor in it, at the same time. A sort of Jack of all trades, in his own style. He likes to do things beyond normal and we can see it in his moviues, but also in his real life with his need of being connecting to the real life.
