In celebration of the 64th Cannes Film Festival, Swarovski has put aside an exclusive gift box for a select few actresses. Based on the theme of the five senses, the box bears the crystal initials of each individual recipient, a magnificent, multifaceted example of the wonder created by crystal.
Touch – Faithful to tradition, Swarovski has reserved a bag, evocatively named “Party Time”, for each actress. This Star Collector 2011 has an allure that is both festive and elegant. Its black satin exemplifies sobriety and is set off by an impressive crystal that is certain to sparkle in front of the flashing cameras. A truly desirable object, the precious “Party Time” clutch is created as a limited edition of 100 numbered pieces for talents. The ultra soft material makes this a tactile and exceptionally stylish accessory.
Sight – A standout piece from the Eyewear collection, the “Amazing” sunglasses celebrate vision. This design offers audacious lines and an extravagant size to all those bold enough for such glorious exuberance.
Smell – “Aura by Swarovski” marks the company’s debut in the field of perfume. Sensual and radiant, this fragrance beguiles with a sweet and bewitching trail, captured in a bottle that pays brilliant homage to the purity of crystal.
Taste – Pierre Hermé recreates the luscious alchemy of “Aura by Swarovski” and transposes it into mouthwatering, delicate nougat. An indulgence as delicious as it is irresistible.
Sound – The links between Swarovski and the world of cinema are so strong and still visible today. They originally date back to 1939 when Judy Garland appeared on film with her dazzling red crystal slippers, the first in a long history of collaborations. It is in homage that Swarovski invites the stars to be enchanted by the original soundtrack of this legendary film.
