Jewellery designs - Spring Gala Event

Hotel Belles Rives in Juan les Pins was last night the host for a great event having spring as a leit motif. Jewels and art combined together for an artistic experience that revealed that  beauty can be found whenever you search for it.

With the spring to come, the jewel designer Jiarong Wu Kobilisky charmed me with a spring collection that has in the center Mimosa piece of jewelry taken its inspiration from the Mediterranean flower tree. The necklace is created in an architectural way so that slowly reveals itself that creates the impression of having mimosas just in front of your eyes. Also part of the collection are Pearl Pavilion Necklace and earrings, an architect jewellery design is inspired by pavilion in the garden Sun Earrings, created with the energy of sun during spring season in cote d'azur, rose earrings, inspired by Rose flowers, four flower petal necklace, butterfly fly necklace. On the occasion of this special event, RK Perles created an unique necklace made of real flowers, pearls and silk ribbon. The necklace was worn by the opera singer Bali that performed angelically for this event. She also wore a Belotti couture dress.

And in the same spirit, as the jewels created from Jiarong's hand are just like a touch of an angel, the art of the artists Gitte Peters and Marcellus Hoedie elevated the ambiance. Just like a touch of flowers, Gitte Peters' art brought the spring spirit into the room. Pure colours, pure sensations and clear lines that almost make you feel its scent.  Gitte Peters uses impressionist techniques of oil and spartzel to create positive thoughts just by looking at it.

On the other hand, Marcellus Hoedi comes with a more ludic version putting his desire of using contemporary techniques into a more modern vision. We can find the spring touch of colours and also the exploration of  free thinking ideas like in the painting "Freedom".  His technique is also impressionism with freestyle accents, the artist's vision can define his own bounderies.

Definitely, I took a breath of artistic fresh air at the Belles Rives Hotel last night and plunged into beautiful colours of spring and beauty. I can expect more from designers to combine art into their work and create unique pieces and events.
