The Hollywood actress, Jessica Alba found a way to put her maternal feel with creativity and good cause. Being a good friend with the jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer came as a natural bond to create necklaces.
The proceeds from the sales of the necklaces will go to HIV positive women in Africa and in helping them prevent transmitting the disease to their children while pregnant.
The necklaces come in two forms: the cheaper one in 8k gold sold for about 280 euros and 18k gold with rubies for a price of 980 euros.
"We realized that hearts were a perfect metaphor for this project...it's an easy, elegant design that women can keep close to their hearts," Jessica Alba said to WWD.
"It makes so much sense for us to collaborate on what we love, use the power of our platforms, and amplify what we do to help eradicate one of the worst diseases," Alba said. "Helping women and children has always been a priority for me."
