Japan Fashion Week Inspiration

fashion & stylestyle tips

Japan Fashion Week is a source of inspiration for all people: designers and fashion lovers, art pursuiters. Japan Fashion Week is so different in style from the other fashion weeks, that the artistic side of it never fades and the muses never cease to appear. Japan Fashion Week starts today till Saturday and we all going to love it.

What I love about Japan Fashion Week is that always proves that art is the nucleus of fashion.

Japanese designers took their inspiration from nature, from traditional Japanese gardens, from rainbows, but also from cheerleader and sixties moods.

"This collection's theme is the Swinging Sixties....With a sense of fun and energy from this era, I used my own style to make it modern. I used a lot of large geometric patterns and graphic fabrics." —Motonari Ono

"This season I've used checks and ethnic patterns, as well as a collaboration with the artist Dogu Arin to create girly unisex and men's items." -Fumica Goto, Tambourine / WWD

"I started developing items that take inspiration not only from the Malay Peninsula and the Middle East, but also places like Turkey and Egypt.” —Windri Widiesta Dhari, Nur Zahra
