Futuroscope has just reached its 40th million visitors since its opening in 1987. It is so the second park of French free time to have crossed this
threshold in held concurrently company, on a market today arrived at
adulthood. The success is amplified by the success of charm « Arthur l' Aventure 4D ». Futuroscope introduces since the beginning of the month a new immersive animation devoted to the young hero of Saint-Exupéry " Le Petit Prince ".
Innovation and interactivity:
2004: production of the film Imax « passengers du Ciel and of the Sea », accomplished by Jacques Perrin.
2006: creation of charm « Dance with robots », with the cooperation of choreographer Kamel Ouali.
2008: launching of charm « The Animals of Future », which links technology of augmented reality (introduced for the first time to the general public) in one possible scenario of evolution of kinds from 5, 100 - 200 million years.
2010: new charm « Arthur, Adventure 4D », created by Luke Besson, greeted as one of better 10 in the world by the professionals of the area united in
Orlondo at the end of 2010.
The best progress in Europe in 2010:
The annual study accomplished by TEA (Themed Entertainment Association), international association which unites the professionals from attraction parks (designers, architects), published last June a study in which it underlined the fact that Futuroscope has accomplished in 2010 the best progress in Europe (7,5 % in company with 1 825 000 visitors, against an average of – 2,4 % for the first 20 parks).
