Black, dense and deep mineral, graphite is used for centuries for the writing or the drawings. The word comes from ancient Greek γράφειν (Graphein) that means "to write" and ίτης () - ite "mineral"!

This dark aspect that sinks in under metallic brightness inspired Nathalie Lorson' s "nose" at Firmenich for the composition of GRAPHITE, the « wooded dark ». She chosed some nice material subjects as the bourbon pepper, the leaf of violet or the wood of Gaïac to translate sensuality and depth of black colour. Indeed, Graphite has a purified writing where every product plays its role accurately.
