"Gods and Kings: The Rise and Fall of Alexander McQueen and John Galliano" is the new book of Dana Thomas that reveals the life of two fashion geniuses: Alexander McQueen and John Galliano.

It all started with an article on these designers written for The Washington Post when it suddenly strucked: this could be a book! And here it is, the book filled with special details and unique backstories, details about fashion shows and the designer's ideas behind them!

I "felt like the end of a 30-year run of creativity. Beautiful, boundless, dizzying, magical, but it came so abruptly to a close. I knew I still had a lot in my cave [the storage space in her apartment building]. I'd kept all my clip files since before Google was invented", said the writer.

From the suicide of Alexander McQueen, the anti-semite struggles of John Galliano, the rise and fall of these fashion designers stays as a refference for many. The Alexander McQueen's talent is kept on by the the continuation of the style as per John Galliano a new door has been opened at the Maison Margiella.
