Glitter dress and blazer

All week I have literally been dying for sunlight to poke out through the dense gloomy clouds and rain. And poke out it did... for a brief moment around noon. Yay! And well, I know this outfit is a bit matchy-matchy, but I think you can tell I don't often go wild with my outfits. I like simple, clean, classy and chic looks, and I think this one fits the bill :)

I actually bought this short sleeved blazer with a peplum like style and shoulder pads for my college advertising final presentation the spring of 2010. I needed a power suit and wore it with black slacks, a white blouse, red nails and BCBG pumps that I bought just for the special day. I felt amazing and delivered the best presentation of my life to over 200 people. Really, a presentation is about everything-- not just what you say and how you say it, but how you look really counts. Wear something that makes you feel proud and confident so you can deliver to the best of your ability. ❤
