Under the soft breeze of a Mediterranean winter, The King of Fashion settled its headquarters in the heart of the Provencal capital of France, one of the most magical cities in the world, Nice.
He brought up with him an entire Pleiades of fashion icons like Cocco Chanel, Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier or muses like flower princesses dressed in colourful dresses like a blessing to the turquoise sea background. He also brought with him his queen which he showed to the world in all her splendour dressed in the traditional Nicois look.
All the entertainers came to cheer up the people who came to this major event, the Nice Carnaval, in order to bring joy and a world of fantasy to live by. Creatures and monsters but also cartoon and film characters, all gathered around for a splash of retro modern twist of facts: day and night parades: the Flower Battle and Corso Luminoso.
With a complete public attendance, the parades showed their best dressed up in flowers and mimosa blooms, in funny and magical characters and also enlightened during the night with spectacular lights and effects.
The King must be proud! He had such a wonderful crowd, this year, and such fabulous entertainers to his court: Place Massena and Promenade des Anglais!
Only one thing stopped his show: a certain evil wind that wanted to cripple his status. Nevertheless, he stood straight and tall in front of all the passengers who saluted him, His Highness!
Now, it was time for a new chapter through his incineration: the King must reborn under different veils! To next year, Carnaval people!
