The 72nd edition of the Golden Globe Awards took place this Saturday night in a typical Hollywood ambiance; As usual Red Carpet was filled with glamour and, this year, Red Carpet seemed to be the perfect background for white dresses. Yes, we could see a lot of white dresses out there.
Kate Hudson in Versace, Amanda Peet in J Mendel, Reese Witherspoon in Calvin Klein, Salm Hayek in Alexander McQueen, Emily Blunt in Michael Kors, Jennifer Lopez in Zuhair Murad, Felicity Huffman in Lorena Sarbu.
White was a predominance; a few ecclectic blue dresses could be seen at Cindy Crawford or Emy Poehler in Stella McCartney, or pale colors such as Anna Kendrick in Monique Lhuillier or Jenna Dewan Tatum in lime yellow pale Carolina Herrera dress. For the red, brunettes wore it better. So, Catherina Zeta Jones opted for a red gown. And she made a great choice as she looked amazing in it! Like the eternal Jane Fonda too wearing a red Versace dress.
Also, Julianne Moore was one of our top favourite looks with the Givenchy Couture dress. Jennifer Aniston shinned in a black Saint Laurent dress, Jessica Chastain in Atelier Versace, Keira Knightley in Chanel, Sienna Miller in Miu Miu, Behati Prinsloo in KaufmanFranco, Amy Adams in Versace, Dakota Johnson in Chanel Haute Couture, Greer Gramer in Lorena Sarbu, Emma Stone in a Lanvin jumpsuit.
An edition filled with diversity, a lot of white and splashes of color, a lot of shinning and glamorous people altogether.
Julianne Moore who was nominated for her role in Still Alice declared to WWd about her dress: "Riccardo [Tisci] sent a few sketches for me to look at and this is what he came up with. I'm very lucky," she said.
