We expected classy from Ralph Lauren and we have it. The fall 2015 collection is stylish in the simple yet sophisticated manned of the designer. From more light and floral tones to a more rigid palette range, the collection steps from one tone to another in a game of textures. The colours made the way to the textures. From soft ivory, beige, white and black the collection focuses on the fabrics and its details.
"The idea was how to make texture - sweaters, shearling - luxurious," Ralph Lauren said backstage. And it sure was a blast of luxurious chic, boheme and classy.
Knits represented the major texture in the collection starting from sweaters to skirts, wraps like the Arandescendent ones. The shearlings could be seen on jackets, vests and coats with a lot of embroideries sewn with lace.
For the evening, Ralph Lauren put the sparkle and the glittering back to its throne. The long column silhouettes came in straight glittering dresses in black, beige with sparkles all around. The glamour was at its peaks.
