24 hours of Mans 2013 - a 90th anniversary edition full in emotional dramas and adrenaline
Despite the terrible drama happened on Saturday at the beginning of the race with the decease of the Danish pilot Allan Simonsen (Aston Martin), nostalgia and adrenalin have marked the departure of this anniversary edition of 24 hours of Mans which was given before an audience to legendary enthusiasm. At the beginning of the race, the flag was brought by the member of France Parachutisme Team, Sebastien Carbillet, to mark the anniversary edition.
Among them, distinguished guests come to discover or to rediscover this mythical endurance race which every year united by the thousands of enthusiasts of four corners of the world.
More than a popular holiday, uniting 245 000 people, 24 hours of Mans is a worldwide sport event.
After the euphoria of stands, palpable from the beginning of day, the place was left little by little to the 56 pilots who, at 3 pm, dashed forward for 24 hours of exceptional race.
Many personalities came to the race to see live the feats of these exceptional sportsmen.
Estelle Lefébure fan of the competition, Denis Brogniart and Jean-Pierre Pernault, enthusiasts of auto; the actors Arnaud Ducret, Juliet Arnaud, Grégory Fitoussi, Benoit Magimel, Christian Vadim; the animators Tex, Gérard Holtz, Vincent Cerruti and Audrey Pulvar; Mathieu Blandin, World champion de Pâtisserie 2013 who accomplished splendid sculptures, the muse of Kenzo, Satya Oblet up to the sportsmen Paul Belmondo, Alexis Pinturault, Ronald Pognon or else David Alaba all had a ringside seat to attend test.
