It is said that this Spring 2014 collection wears the signs of the French film influence as The Red Balloon and The Dreamers. He came with this muse during a cold watching the French movies.
So, with this Spring 2014 collection we can see Gallic archetypes. From schoolboy clothes to machos shorts and snug knitwear, the French touch could be seen many times as the Paris sign on a velo cap, the red balloon hanging on the back of a sweater, the hats in various sizes and forms.
Also, Michael Bastian put his American influence on his collection through the short swim trunks, tennis sweaters, gymwear - relaxed sporty outfits very dear to the American casual man.
It is a collection perfect for the busy urban guy who likes to get out, to stay fit - very actual, very practical.
