Max Mara Pre Fall 2020 fashion collection comes with a splash of colorful vibes in all shapes and volumes that stirs the elegancy in a more playful way. On the photoshoot created by Richard Avedon for this collection, we can clearly see the focus on the movement and the idea of having the liberty of free space and action. The woman in this collection is joyful, full of life and dreams. She is modern and retro, at the same time. She is a fairytale modern woman.
"I wanted my girl to go into a fairy-tale story. Not that she's a princess, but somehow through the volume and architectural clothes, it felt very romantic, but also very considered." Gilles Mendel said about the collection, cited by WWD.
The designer wanted to outline the idea of structure and volume with the ease of movement. Also, the use of scuba silk fabric is something innovatory for the brand. The elegance now wears the name of ease and floaty dreams. The romance makes its way through the volumes and long dresses with puffy sleeves, the furs and the colors that had its inspiration from the painter Rudolf Stinger.
A collection to revive the sleeping energies, right to set the mood for Pre Fall 2020.
