Say Alber Elbaz and you can see the genius sparkle. For this Lanvin Spring 2014 fashion collection he did a shinning job. A diversity of fabrics and concepts to fit every individual woman. It is a collection that brings back the idea of regular clothes, of sportwear, of individual comfort. And, it is a collection that shines completely with a lot of silver and golden reflections like in a mirror.

Elbaz inspiration came from a visit to Jerusalem on an orthodox Jewish wedding. There was "everything shining,""but their eyes.", declared the fashion designer. So, he thought of creating the clothes like a mirror to reflect the audience.

It is a daring collection where we can see sportwear like the trench over a top and skirt, dresses from flappers to sheaths in different materials like lace, lamés, tweeds, brocades - all for every type of woman. 

So, we have a glossy collection, everywhere shinning and glowing - a collection that for some may have an aggresive touch of tones but for others has a luxury twist from cheap shimmering.
