New York State of Mind for many celebrities for Giorgio Armani event

Manhattan was all about Giorgio Armani Thursday evening. Even the Mayor Michael Bloomberg dedicated his day to the Italian designer. 

One Night Only fashion event

It was the evening for "One Night Only" at the SuperPier at Hudson River Park. More than 700 friends, clients,family, journalists and big celebrities. came to the event.

Among them, we can count Leonardo Di Caprio, Renée Zellweger, Jeremy Irons, Glenn Close, Ricky Martin, Coco Rocha, even the fashion designer Oscar de la Renta, a friend of Giorgio Armani. 

"I think it's fair to say he changed the paradigm for classic elegance," Renée Zellweger said cited by WWD.

The perfect Armani woman

"I'm the perfect Armani woman," Glenn Close stated. "It's classic and beautiful and you can still be yourself. You don't have to worry about all the frou frou and stuff, you know? I'm a yankee, after all."  

Armani put on such big event including Eccentrico exhibition, a Armani Prive runway show, with collections starting from 2005 and also his Nude Fall 2013 Prive show. Of course, all followed by a party. It is more a trip on the steps of Giorgio Armani s creativity with all these fashion collections.

Armani explained this event in a sort of irony joke: "Because I am a strong, powerful man,", cited by WWD.
