Elie Saab Couture Spring 2015 is glamorous and diaphane as always. This time, the designer plunged into the sixties vibe with a reminescence of his childhood and his mother wearing a black satin dress printed with tulips. This leit motif is present in his collections.
For the Spring 2015, the same feel: luxury in each detail and a lot of fluidity for an ultra feminine touch. The silhouettes are more linear, the embroideries are mastered with style, all creating a bucolic theme that reminds us of the Lebanese roots of the designer.
The pink, ivory, green, beige pale shades are all over on dresses with oversize blooms, sequined floral embroideries, a lot of ostrich feathers and, of course, the tulip motif.
"With every new collection I conceived, the striking image of my mother in this tulip-print silk dress reappeared endlessly," the designer said.
A collection that is, definitely and in the usual style, the essence of glamour.
