On Austrian land, right in the heart of imperial symbols, the Chanel Pre Fall 2015 line took place in an amazing creativity and attention to detail at Rococo palace Schloss Leopoldskron. One of the best collection of Chanel! It has everything it need for a modern reinterpretation of Chanel essence. It all started from the tweed jacket that Coco Chanel discovered on a lift operator back when she was staying at the hotel in Salzburg whose owner was Baron Hubert von Pantz, Chanel's lover in the Thirties.
The Pre-Fall 2015 collection is a mix of symbolic elements with aristocratic touches in a marquise-like manner. Everything has importance, everything is unique and created in such way that makes you feel like you belong to the aristocratic world.
New modern versions of the tweed jacket were seen on the presentation bringing the Alpine style into a world of cosy luxury and conservative chic. We can see leggings and ribbons turned into sleeves, feathered coats, embroidery, capeline jackets, turtleneck sweaters up to party dresses. The eveningwear made it all up to its outmost glamour: pale blue chiffon embellished with butterflies and feathers or satin black dresses with dirndl volumes.
"It's so well done, how they mix tradition from a specific place with the Chanel spirit," said actress Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey. "There's a look for every kind of woman."
