Chanel Autumn Winter 2019 was the last show of Karl Lagerfeld before he passed away. Still, the designer had already the new collection line in work so we may see another sketch put into practice.
This collection shows very much of Chanel's style: working on that tweed in all its forms and colors. This time, the tweed was layered and colorful, mixed in all textures, geometries and patterns. From tip to toe, the main element was the tweed, and this may come as a signature of the fashion designer not getting too far away from the original source.
The Alpine village set at the Grand Palais created the winter mood and transposed each one into a dreamy fairytale: chic, classy, elegant, powerful!
