Met Gala 2016 took place this Monday, 2nd of May, hosted by Taylor Swift, Idris Elba, Jonathan Ive. Anna Wintour, Nicolas Ghesquière, Karl Lagerfeld and Miuccia Prada were part of the jury. The event covered the theme "Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology." The duality between haute couture and technology was the line of the event. The show featured more than 100 fashion pieces, ready to wear and haute couture altogether.

On the Red Carpet, there was a mix between luxury grunge, classic Red Carpet, haute couture and ready to wear. There was Cindy Crawford looking amazing in a Balmain dress, Anna Wintour in Chanel, Nicole Kidman in Alexander McQueen or Selena Gomez in Louis Vuitton.

A bit of diversity seen also on Sarah Jessica Parker wearing a white Monse costume.

Also,Jessica Chastain in a blue Prada dress, Kate Hudson in Atelier Versace, Lily Rose Melody Depp in Chanel, Jennifer Connely in Louis Vuitton, Lady Gaga (looking horrible) in an Atelier Versace body and jacket, Gigi Hadid in Tommy Hilfiger, Madonna (who did not gad one of her best outfits) in Givenchy and so on were the stars of the flashes.

As part of this mix of technology and fashion  this is one of the steps taken towards futur and its innovations. And the Red Carpet seemed more into fashion rather than technology ... for the moment.
