Olivier Rousteing adds the modern sexy to Balmain's signature. And this has been so for more than three years since he is at the artistic direction of the brand.
For Spring 2016, the fierce, brave sexyness does not rely on leather anymore but the tight clothes, big belts and chains. Juxtaposed layers that play a sort of peekaboo lakes the skin more visible and sexier in the designer's vision.
It does not seem to have the same force as the last collection but the fashion house motifs are there. It's provokative, it's wild, it's powerful! And this message is definitely conveyed!
The fashion designer put more and more his DNA on the brand and this can be seen also in the collection he's preparing for H&M where the Balmain DNA can be seen.
