Socks is one thing, but Happy Socks is another! And now, the brand really made us buy those happy socks. Or maybe are the naked dancers in the advertising that stirred us the desire to buy some socks.
Anyway, under the lens of David LaChapelle everything seems full of color and energy. On the streets of downtown Los Angeles, the playful images created by the prohographer creates to good mood for good socks.
"It was really about the form of the dancers themselves, who star in the pictures, and the idea of the colorful socks and colorful backgrounds - and the happy feeling in the air," said LaChapelle cited by WWD.
Also, the photographer produced a short film inspired from the movie The Red Shoes in collaboration with choreographer John Byrne. In the nine minutes film, the story is about a hooker very fond of dancing. Happy Socks are worn throughout the film. Of the images are available now, this short film will be live on the Happy Socks website on 31st of October.
Definitely, Happy Socks brought a dose of fun into this ad which made it more attractive.
