French designer Smuggler launches the first anti electromagnetic waves pocket

Male ready to wear fashion house Smuggler, created in 1978, known how to be in the waves of time while keeping its fundamental values. With its manufacturing unit in Limoges, Smuggler wishes to preserve a 100% French production. The brand which asserts this know-how was the first to be received in 2011, the Label Origin Guaranteed France. Always in search of the innovation, it is at the origin of a single concept on the market, that to insert in its clothing a device of shielding: an electromagnetic anti-waves pocket which makes it possible to block up to 90% as of the their harmful effects on the protected part. 

THREE YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT

The today company is exposed to multiple electromagnetic waves in its daily environment and in particular those of the mobile telephones. Even if the great majority of French constantly remains attached to their mobile, the users are increasingly conscious of the negative aspect of these permanent exposures and try to protect themselves from its emissions.

In collaboration with the Institute of research XLIM in Limoges, Smuggler answers these problems and brings a solution concerning the protection of its clients face to the electromagnetic waves. “We are particularly interested in the development of this product because the target of our brand is primarily made up active men, consuming new technologies, using their portable telephones daily. Moreover, this new service, enables us to go even further in our philosophy. ” Gilles Attaf, chairman.

To limit the proliferation of these waves on the human body, metal wires are inserted into rayon fabric located in the interior pocket of the jacket. Entirely manufactured in France, this fabric is invisible and impalpable.
