Saturday, 9th of April, at Domaine de Barbossi, it took place the first edition of Food Influencers Awards in a very convivial ambiance.
Cooking Show Live, a symphony of sensations
The event started with the Live Cooking Show by the charming Michelin-starred Chef, Jean-Francois Berard. His passion sparkled through his eyes, playing and creating a symphony of herbs and vegetables taken right from his garden where he continues the family gastronomic path, in La Cadière d'Azur, Var. His sense of connection to every part of his cuisine transports everyone to a world of fine and sensorial experiences. He likes to call it Atomic Kitchen!
Food Influencers' Presentations in front of the Distinguished Jury
The ten food influencers along with the public present at the event were captivated by the craftsmanship of the Top Chef. Each explanation and tasting was made with smiles and convivial passion. The influencers found out about the ingredients he used and the way of preparation.
After the tasting, the food influencers had to present what they ate to the distinguished jury, through an oral and photographic presentation. The members of the Jury were personalities from the Escoffier Institute: Mario d'Orio, Head Chef, Disciple Escoffier, Toc Blanche, Michel Lefèvre, Artisan Pastry Chef, Disciple Escoffier, Cordon d'Or, Culinary Academy, Stéphane Oprea, the President of the Escoffier Institute in Romania, Louis Lagrange, Chef restaurant La Brigade du Goût in La Turbie, Pastry Chef Mathieu Marchand at la Boutique Oasis, Martine Ackermann, President of Child Care Monaco, a heart of gold who comes from a family of Escoffier Chefs and Disciples, Soraya Bahsoun, Côte d'Azur ambassador, Jean-François Berard, Starred Top Chef.
Guests of honor to bring even more sparkles to the event
Among the guests of honor we can mention the Honorary General Secretary, Mr Bernard Louis Jaunet and Mrs Antoinette Petit, former director of the Vignette Haute, Mr Constantin Turchina, Honorary Consul of Romania in Monaco, Mr Stefan de Fay, Consul of Romania in Nice.
The Best Food Influencer French Riviera
After a very tight deliberation, The Best Food Influencer was chosen: Victoria Vinai from @goodfoodaddress_nice. Creativity, precision, visual presentation were among the criteria to be taken into consideration. She is the winner for this first edition, representing French Riviera with an echo to the world.

C'était un véritable plaisir de participer à cette première édition des Food Influenceurs Awards. L'organisation était parfaite, ce moment de convivialité nous a permis de de faire des rencontres et de partager une soirée avec les jurés, les influenceurs et le public. Enfin, le domaine de Barbossi était un cadre idyllique pour cette cérémonie. Evidemment, je suis très heureuse et émue d'avoir remporté ce prix, surtout devant mes proches. La gastronomie est une véritable passion. Depuis toute petite, les repas de famille ont une grande importance dans ma vie. Chez nous, passer du temps à cuisiner pour son entourage est une façon de dire "je t'aime". Etre récompensée pour quelque chose que j'adore faire est donc un véritable plaisir et cela me pousse à vouloir faire encore mieux.Rêvant de travailler dans l'univers de la gastronomie, j'espère qu'un jour je ferai carrière dans ce secteur !" Victoria nous a dit.
