Flower Navy Battle Carnival at Villefranche sur Mer

On February 18, 2019 between 11h and 17h30 at the Port of Health in Villefranche sur Mer will take place the naval flower fight, a moment of sharing happiness during the Carnival period.

A battle of flowers on the water. A fleet of sharp boats all adorned with flowers from the country, mostly from Villefranche but also this year from neighboring towns, will parade through the port of La Santé in front of a large crowd gathered on the quays. After a passage in front of the public, the sailors in suit will skirt the quays and will throw their flowers to the spectators ... the battle begins!

On the program: Carnival parades at 11 am and 1:30 pm, floral naval battle at 2.30 pm, folk entertainment at 4 pm.
