First stone for the One Monte-Carlo neighbourhood

Prince Albert II laid the first stone of the New Complex houses the Société des Bains de Mer in the presence of personalities from the Principality of Monaco.

 On the occasion of this ceremony, the name of this new Complex will contribute to the modernization of the Monte Carlo neighborhood was unveiled: it is "One Monte Carlo." As previously announced, the name of the main paths that traverse "One Monte Carlo" will be the "Promenade Princess Charlene."

 On this rock will reach the major urban planning project initiated in 2015 and signed by the renowned firm of English architects Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners, and the talented Monegasque architect Alexandre Giraldi Mr. The construction of "One Monte Carlo" will be completed end of 2018.

 The ceremony unveiled the scale of this new living place which will be built within 2 years, environmentally, blending history and modernity, luxury and culture. This stone establishes the vision of the futur Monte Carlo.

 About the name "One Monte Carlo"

 Guardian of more than 150 years of history, the Société des Bains de Mer remains closely associated with the birth of the myth of Monte Carlo.

The name "Monte Carlo One" keeps this historical connection, highlights the unique and prestigious character of this luxury complex, close to the Place du Casino and assumes international dimension of this new district.

About this ambitious building project 

As it recalled Jean-Luc Biamonti, Deputy President, the Société des Bains de Mer is the developer of the urbanization and development of this new district in Monte Carlo.

 A set of seven buildings developed in transparency and fluidity will contribute to the modern and timeless aesthetic of Monte Carlo. This area, surrounded by gardens and partly pedestrian, concentrate over 30 luxury apartments, 4,500 square meters of luxury boutiques, 2,500 m² of offices, a convention center and exhibition. The rental of these spaces will initially repayment of debt incurred for the construction of that complex and then supplement the income of the Company.

 The implementation of this ambitious housing project demonstrates that the Société des Bains de Mer is adapted and renewed to face global competition and ensure its economic growth.

 Moreover, the conduct of the work itself, respectful of the strictest environmental requirements, vegetation will be ubiquitous, sustainable development was taken into account at every stage of the development of "One Monte Carlo."
