For the first time ever, Chanel goes for eCommerce. This is a warm up for the digital platform that Chanel wants to launch in 2016. And what a better way to test the waters but to start a collaboration with Net-a-Porter?!
"Chanel is a brand that we admire greatly and we are incredibly honoured and proud to partner with them on their first ever fine jewellery ecommerce project. This fabulous collection completely embodies the unequivocal chic Chanel spirit - classic, modern and timeless - that is sure to resonate with the Net-a-Porter customer." declared Alison Loehnis, the President of Net-a-Porter.
For Net-a-Porter, this is also a new concept and they built the shop in shop through Cloud-based techology.
So, starting from today 15th of April until the 6th of May, Chanel will sell online on an exclusivity with Net-a-Porter its fine jewelry collection called Coco Crush.
The collection includes 18 karat yellow and white gold jewelry: five rings and one cuff all with a quilted effect that reminds of the texture on Chanel's leather accessories. The prices start from $2,150 up to $20,500 for the bracelet which already seems to be sold out.
