Dominique Lory and Davide Oldani as a duo at the Grill for a lunch and two dinners 4 hands
The Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo will be the scene of two dinners and a four-handed lunch at the restaurant Le Grill, on October 21 and 22, for a gastronomic journey between Italy and France, in the heart of the Place du Casino . Dominique Lory welcomes Davide Oldani, two-starred Italian chef from the D'O restaurant to form a multi-starred duo and deliver an exceptional 4-hand experience. Inventor of pop cuisine, Davide Oldani is considered one of the best Italian chefs recognized for his fascinating and innovative conception of gastronomy. The two chefs have created a creative 7-course menu using the flagship products of the Riviera: such as spaghetti salad with saffron and Kristal caviar, raw gilthead sea bream accompanied by sheep's cheese, carrots and ginger or again for dessert the Granita with green tea and lemon from Menton. A unique experience facing the mythical view offered by the Le Grill restaurant from the eighth floor of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo.
Dominique Lory, Executive Chef of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo: between tradition of know-how and innovation
Since August 1, 2022, Chef Dominique Lory has taken over from Franck Cerutti at the helm of all the kitchens and restaurants at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo. After a rich experience of eleven years as Chef of the Louis-XV Alain Ducasse at the Hôtel de Paris, Dominique Lory leaves the reins of the three-starred restaurant to Emmanuel Pilon and continues his brilliant career at the head of the kitchens of the other establishments of the Monegasque palace, including Le Grill restaurant, with Chef Patrick Laine. The stakes are high. Continue to promote the iconic table of the Group created in 1959, and make its star shine, by integrating new methods to innovate while respecting tradition.
Work on the entire gastronomic experience of Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo customers, so that each culinary experience creates a unique moment, from breakfast to dinner, including room service, the break at Wellness Sky Club, or even the return of the prestigious banquets at the Salle Empire, from the summer of 2023. And to make the catering offer and the service of the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo ever more attractive, the mission also covers the new catering concepts, in an international version such as Em Sherif Monte-Carlo, or Maison with the new project which will see the light of day in the heart of the patio in the summer of 2023. As he says himself, "we can do nothing alone" , teamwork, transmission of passion and know-how, optimization of work are precious ingredients of Chef Lory's cuisine.
