Spring Summer 2014 is here. We have to be in the mood, we have to kick with the trends. There are some clear lines regarding the trends for this season so stick with us and we will guide you for the top trends for SS 2014.

JET SET trend:

Long fluid dresses, cosy outfits and bohemian prints - this is a trend that best suits the city and travel woman. It is a trend that invites you to escape from reality and dream.

Recommendation: Maiyet Silk-chiffon batik maxi dress - €1,650

Maiyet has used the ancient Indonesian handcraft of batik to create this intricately patterned dress. Cut from airy silk-chiffon with fluttering drapes through the split skirt, this lightweight piece moves elegantly as you walk. This semi-sheer style has a matching slip for added coverage.

80s revival:

The 80s are back. On the runways we can see padded shoulder tops and dresses, like the lip print dress at Saint Laurent or Balmain”s gold buttons and chains.

Recommendation: BALMAIN Coated tweed mini dress - €3,485

Balmain's black coated tweed dress cuts a sharp silhouette - the shoulders are padded and the belt detail draws in your waist. Pick out the white trims by teaming this mini style with tonal pumps.

Haute Sports:

Definitely, this is one of the most powerful trends for the SS 2014 season. The luxury sportwear is everywhere and the cool chic vibe catches you no matter what. The bomber jacket seen at Marc Jacobs or Sacai silk trackpants, the sneakers - all create the sporty chic. And we have seen Karl Lagerfeld taking on the catwalks in sneakers.

Recommendation: GIVENCHY Favelas black lace top - €650

The Lady:

The feminine style never fades out. The symbol of women essence gives them the power to conquer the world. With sophisticated or simple lines, the feminine style is always a winning part. We can see Dolce & Gabbana with their print dresses or full prom skirts with a shell top. The looks are refined and creates a fantastic allure for every woman.

Recommendation: TIBI Embroidered organza midi skirt - €520

Tibi's midi skirt is constructed from a heavily embroidered sheer organza and pleated for a full silhouette. Style it with a tucked-in top to emphasize the high waist.

Modern Pastels:

We all love pastel colors. And for this season they continue to be on top. Pale pink, lavender, lime, lemon are the best hues for SS 2014. Burberry Prorsum created full line within these hues and the pencil skirt in this colors is amazing. The pastel is for clothing and accessories altogether.

Recommandation: PIERRE HARDY Patent-leather and ostrich shoulder bag - €720

Pastel hues are key for Cruise '14. Pierre Hardy's compact shoulder bag is crafted from mint patent-leather and pearlescent ostrich with iridescent crinkle-effect trims. It's finished with the brand's signature tab front, too.

Bold Prints and volumes:

This SS 2014 season is all about the prints. Whether they are Africa inspired, have exotic themes or are graphical representations, the prints are the top trend. Put on big volume clothes gives the essence of this season trend. Mary Katrantzou worked with the French atelier Lesage on OTT embroidered florals, and Marc Jacobs announces tip to toe embelishment. So, everything comes in line with big prints, big volumes and embelishments.

Recommendation: VALENTINO Gold-plated Swarovski crystal earrings - €450
