THE LATEST TREND IN FASHION

Marc Jacobs has been in many campaigns lately but not in  smurf one. He is cool, he is fashionable and now he is a smurf.

A smurf created under the artistic and talented pencil of Alexandro Palombo who re-imagined a fashion smurf village with all the icons in it.

In the center here we have Marc Jacobs preparing to leave the Louis Vuitton mushroon hut from the fancy part of the Smurf Village.

Who are the other fashion icons in the Smurf Village?

Karl Lagerfeld, Coco Chanel, Valentino Garavani, Marc Jacobs, Donatella Versace, John Galliano, Ralph Lauren, Lanvin creative director Alber Elbaz, Yves Saint Laurent, Rei Kawakubo (Comme des Garçons), Jean Paul Gaultier, Iris Apfel, Vogue editor in chief Anna Wintour, Grace Coddington, Suzy Menkes (Fashion Editor of the International Herald Tribune), Fashionista editor in chief Leah Chernikoff, The Daily Telegraph's Hilary Alexander, Vogue China editor in chief Angelica Cheung, Refinery29 editor in chief Christene Barberich, Diane Pernet, Vogue UK editor in chief Alexandra Shulman and Harper's Bazaar's Global Fashion Director Carine Roitfeld. That's a great list, isn't it?

Karl Lagerfeld looks like GrandPa Smurf, Donatella looks like Smurfette; the whole Fashion Smurf are around: the Smurfashion. Indeed, a new way to look at the fashion icons. We all have our favourite smurf, we all get alike to one of the smurfs. This time, the artist Alexandro Palombo did it perfectly.
