The legendary 93 years old fashion icon, Iris Apfel is under the lights again. This time she is the protagonist of a new documentary signed Albert Maysles. Unfortunately, the director passed away this month so the launching of his film will be done in his absence.

The documentary shows the amazing life of Iris Apfel, her style and passion for fashion.

"You're not pretty and you will never be pretty, but it doesn't matter. You have something much better, you have style." And this is what made Iris Apfel a legend. She has one of the biggest Haute Couture collection in New York and she loves to dress and look extravagant.

The documentary presents also her 100 years old husband and tells their story and how they started their own company back in the 50s. Old World Weavers was a textile business that collaborated with nine American presidents for the restorations of the White House.

Her passion for style, her big eyeglasses and colourful clothing as personal signature can be seen all over the film and in her personal life, too.

"I didn't give a damn about going to the party or being at the party, it was getting dressed for the party", Iris Apfel said.

Let's watch the trailer of the documentary here:
