Fashion collections must see
Coca Cola celebrates its 125th anniversary. For this event, Parisian fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac created a special exclusive JC / DC collection. This was presented at Paris venue Le Trianon at one of the gratest party from Paris Fashion Week. The interior of the Trianon was decorated with Coca Cola symbols and imagery signed Castelbajac.
The collection signed Castelbajac is filled with ingenuity and exclusivist pieces. The main central piece of the collection was the silver-sequined Coca Cola dress. The whole colection shined with glamour and high style.
"I fell in love with Coca-Cola at first sight! I was 16, and it was the only bottle who had the waist of a girl," said Jean-Charles de Castelbajac. "I was thinking about a pipeline between the USA and France to import this American myth. My mentor Raymond Loewy designed for Coke, and Warhol helped made it an icon. I was honoured to create a collection and an event for the 125th anniversary, and be part of this long creative history!"
