Belgian model Delfine Balfort turns into a rainbow warrior under the tropical palette of NARS. The makeup artist Francelle Daly did a great job in creating the colorful ambience.

The concept of the shooting was to express the difference tones of colors in various intensities of light. “I wanted to feel organic, but with a fantastical edge” says KT Auleta, the photographer and filmmaker for Nowness.

A tropical ambience and colorful makeup:

Ginger lilies, heliconias, Bird of Paradise flowers created a special unique décor. The colors from the created forest were revealed in the makeup. Multicolored NARS eyeshadow pigments mixed with Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay. The last look was covered with Shiseido Black Mask and Clay all over the body.

Delfine Balfort is wearing only a nude thong from American Apparel but mostly she wears her deep blue eyes that are seen in the dark frames. She embodies the image of the tropical beauty: savage, sensual and dominant.
