Fashion trends 2014 from Givenchy haute couture:

What to expect from the new creative mind behind Givenchy haute couture? The usual prints as a strong symbol of the brand? It is more than this. From this collection, Roberto Tisci wanted to push beyond prints without forgetting them. Prints on the trenches, prints on the dresses, prints all over. But, there is a certain thing that outlines this collection; the baby doll gypsy looks. As Roberto Tisci said "It was so full of print, which is becoming a sign of Givenchy ... I wanted to develop that, and deliver a collection that (was) part gypsy and dolly."

What Givenchy haute couture collection contains:

Dresses over pants, lace pants, a confetti rose attached to the shoulder part of the trenchcoats, ruffled jacket and skirt, corset, corset worn over pants. Accesories like cuffs, crystals and studs are a great part of the outfits.

LACE, the ultimate trend:

Definitely, as seen at many designers, lace is the big trend this year and the year to come. Lace returns powerfully and wants to stay. Just like leather, it can't be out of the fashion, always has a strong voice and this can be seen on the Resort 2014 collections.
