These are creative times and reconsideration is part of the job! Look at Dior! The designer, Maria Grazia Chiuri, created Surrealism miniature versions for the fall collection. Female Surrealist figures such as Lee Miller, Dora Maar or Leonira Carrington were the inspiration behind the collection.

"To think about creativity, to dream, was very good, because it gives you hope for the future," the designer, wearing a white surgical mask, said during a preview at her office in Paris. "I think art is very important in this moment." said the designer. The mini collection was presented on mannequins housed in a trunk. Theatre de la Mode had a hige influence on this with the miniature fashions devised by the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne after World War II.

"All the dresses are really couture dresses. We made them in the real proportions with the real textiles, with the real craftsmanship," Chiuri said. "It's playful, but it's real. You have to see yourself in a dress."

Since the fashion shows were cancelled due to the actual sanitary situation, designers reinvented the concept in order to touch the market. So, Chiuri decided to create a travelling display with a capsule line of ready-to-wear and luggage.
