Eiffel Tour in Colors for Paris Fashion Week

The Eiffel Tour sparkled in the French national colours on Wednesday and it continue to do so till the end of the Fashion Week in Paris, October 7th. 

It was a glamorous opening with big names in the fashion industry pushing the inaugurational button. Bruno Pavlovski from Chanel, Sidney Toledano from Dior, Francesca Bellettini from Saint Laurent, Inès de la Fressange, Puig fashion chief Ralph Toledano and the mayor, Anne Hidalgo were among the present names.

"We use the Eiffel very rarely, only for planetary-size events," said the politician dressed in a Dior coat. "It's the commitment of the city, and of the industry of fashion...Paris is backing its designers and fashion. It is a magnificent sector that employs many people and make people dream."  

The Eiffel Tower becomes this powerful symbol united with the fashion industry also, a great marketing tool. The lights will be accompanied by the slogan "Fashion loves Paris".
