In April 2011, Digital Aid made a first trip to Ethiopia to contact the lives and needs of children in this country. Digital Aid brought clothes, shoes, and we offered our volunteer services for an Ethiopian school. Thereafter Digital Aid sent laptops to students in Addis Ababa , which allow them to continue their studies.

In 2010, Digital Aid collected food for the social centers for orphans and abandoned children in Rimnicu Sarat , Romania. These foods constitued the basis of breakfast children for a month in a financially difficult time at the beginning of the economic crisis in Romania. Their actions have also supported cultural events in Romanian schools ( birthday of the poet G. Vieru , Christmas party ) and the prize for students with the best results at the end of the school year. In May , Digital Aid offered computers to Campouns school in France, to support a project for the integration of computer technology in the school system . In June , Digital Aid opened 10 new data centers in Romania: 8 rooms in social centers for abandoned children and orphans , a computer room for children with physical disabilities , a computer room with free entry for children under Club Children.
In November 2009 Digital Aid opened 9 data centers in the Rrom communities , with 32 computers and printers collected in France and Monaco . The Rrom children often live in closed communities , where education is considered a useless activity . Growing up in such an environment leads to isolation and major difficulties of integration into society for these children. The computer can thus give them an opening to be part of a modern society outside the community, and learning in the form of the game, more easily accepted by children and their families means .
