This year, Digital Aid has collected more than 150 computers due to leave before the end of April to the village of Matana in Burundi, to ensure the equipment for an excellence school acquiring orphans and other vulnerable children ( center built by AMADE Burundi , and a collaborative project between Amade Mondiale and the Office of International Cooperation). In March, Digital Aid was invited to participate at DIHAD ( Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition ). During this event , we met with representatives of several world-scale organizations, and representatives of institutions in the UAE. This gave us new opportunities for collaboration on future projects in Somalia , Lebanon, Jordan , Afghanistan, Sri Lanka , Pakistan, India.

Digital Aid Retrospective:

In 2013, Digital Aid continued to send laptops to students in Ethiopia , Lithuania and Burkina Faso . In November , as part of the Festival of Children's Rights , Digital Aid received from the Ministry of Education of Monaco , a prize worth € 8,000 for our actions in defense of the rights of the child in the world .

In 2012, Digital Aid renewed IT park of the Al Karam association, helping children and young people in precarious situations in Safi , Morocco. The material is used for the benefit of young girls and aged between 15 and 24 year old boys , who are offered vocational training through Al Karam and participate in workshops on job search and preparation for entry the labor market through computers.

In April 2011, Digital Aid made a first trip to Ethiopia to contact the lives and needs of children in this country. Digital Aid brought clothes, shoes, and we offered our volunteer services for an Ethiopian school. Thereafter Digital Aid sent laptops to students in Addis Ababa , which allow them to continue their studies.

In 2011, Digital Aid also sent hardware to a school in the village Ankevo Madagascar , in collaboration with Women Leader of Monaco and France ADDA association and they offered computers and printers to schools in several villages like Cameroon and Burkina Faso .

In 2010, Digital Aid collected food for the social centers for orphans and abandoned children in Rimnicu Sarat , Romania. These foods constitued the basis of breakfast children for a month in a financially difficult time at the beginning of the economic crisis in Romania. Their actions have also supported cultural events in Romanian schools ( birthday of the poet G. Vieru , Christmas party ) and the prize for students with the best results at the end of the school year. In May , Digital Aid offered computers to Campouns school in France, to support a project for the integration of computer technology in the school system . In June , Digital Aid opened 10 new data centers in Romania: 8 rooms in social centers for abandoned children and orphans , a computer room for children with physical disabilities , a computer room with free entry for children under Club Children.

In November 2009 Digital Aid opened 9 data centers in the Rrom communities , with 32 computers and printers collected in France and Monaco . The Rrom children often live in closed communities , where education is considered a useless activity . Growing up in such an environment leads to isolation and major difficulties of integration into society for these children. The computer can thus give them an opening to be part of a modern society outside the community, and learning in the form of the game, more easily accepted by children and their families means .

To Provide 50 computers to a village school in Burundi, which plans to build a computer room in the second half of 2014. Hardware support with a micro-finance project initiated in Burundi AMADE . Continue to support the poor in Addis Ababa with computers students.
