For Alexander McQueen, Guido created these masks with hair of lace in a delicate complicacy. This could be seen on every model, creating an enchanting atmosphere that sublimates the delightful collection Spring Summer 2012.
“When we recall Fashion Week and its styles, we often think of something fantastic and inspirational. The look of Alexander Mc Queen does exactly this thing. The design of these masks with hair was made with Sarah [Burton] and the idea was to take back what had been made during exhibition McQueen in New York. To work with design and art instills a certain difference and joy in what they create, and when Sarah introduced me the collection, the hair looks simply evolved in a symbiosis with me. Every headgear is strictly unique, and hair is braided underneath. The whole leads to a richer and more provided look, because it is difficult to see braids underneath the mask. ” – Guido, artistic consultant Redken
