Crossover Summer takes over the citadelle de Villefranche

In 10 years, the Nice festival Crossover has grown by multiplying the events out of season under the Label Crossover. The "Crossover Summer" punctuate the summer 2018 Riviera in addition to the festival held in August at the Théâtre de Verdure in Nice. Between May 19th and September 28th, 6 events with eclectic and unpublished concepts are scheduled in the Alpes-Maritimes department. After the Street-Food party at the Musée du Sport, the second date will be held this Saturday, June 9 at the Citadel of Villefranche-sur-Mer with a party Cocobeach Party.

THE COCOBEACH PARTY CONCEPT:

In collaboration with French Kitchen A & R and the City of Villefranche-sur-Mer, Crossover Summer will invest the citadel this Saturday, June 9 between 16h00 and 02h00 for a big electro party in the open air. Crossover Summer invites Cocobeach Party, the mythical summer theme party of the capital. His concept, a mix of colorful scenography (buoys, balloons ..) and hippie dress code, to transform the citadel into a vast playground and party.

THE PROGRAM :

The citadel will host a sharp line-up with the international headliner BLOND: ISH. In addition, activities will be offered: street-food stand for eating, photo animations and body painting ...

BLOND: ISH: The famous Canadian duets and producers duo will embark on a universal journey tinged with psychedelia, deep shades of electronica, a dynamic blend of colorful traditional instruments and polyglot vocals.

LUNAR DISCO: Born from the Parisian house music scene, and made up of French DJ and producer Nicolas Blistene, as well as beautiful Kate Elsworth, Australian singer and performer, this duo of partners in crime forms a powerful union of music lovers .

PARALLELLS: Thomas and Julien de Bie alias Parallells are a duo of DJs / producers from the Netherlands. True music lovers, influenced by the Berlin culture, they grow up in a jazzy & funky environment. They play Electronica tunes, powerful tracks that captivate and make their audience travel. They are at the controls of Klassified parties!

MORNING GLORY: Producers and DJs from Nice, Nicolas Collonge and Geda form the Morning Glory duet. Both boys have know-how, touch and experience. Provocative and unequivocal, they will make us vibrate with a sound tinged with house, techno and disco.

SCHOUN LY: slowmo influences, nu-disco, progressive, new wave, deep house. SCHOUN LY embarks us for a dark and yet brilliant underground trip punctuated by classics.

Crossover (to understand "crossing") puts the spotlight on musical, cultural, social and geographical crossbreeding. Created by the Panda Events association, the Crossover festival has for 10 years, invested atypical and unpublished places of the Nice conurbation (the old slaughterhouses, the Opera, Castle Hill, Villa Arson, the Chapel of Providence) and invited artists of contemporary music who evolve at the crossroads of cultures and musical trends: Cypress Hill, Metronomy, The Shoes, Stephen Crecy, Chet Faker, Nina Kravitz, Fawn, Jeff Mills, Bonobo, Charlotte Gainsbourg, 2manydjs, Kavinsky ...
