CROSSOVER SUMMER # 4: ARTY PARTY IN ST PAUL DE VENCE WITH JEANNE ADDED AUGUST 02
After two sold-out parties in Villefranche-sur-Mer and Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, Crossover Summer will invest Saint-Paul de Vence on August 2nd for an Arty Party on the occasion of the first International Biennale of Saint-Paul de Vence. The enticing French Jeanne Added who signs her big return this year with the release of her second album, will be the headliner of this evening under the sign of the Art.
THE CONCEPT :
In collaboration with the city of Saint-Paul de Vence and as part of the International Biennale, which is held from June 09 to August 31, the Crossover Summer concept will be installed on the beautiful Place de la Courtine on Friday, August 02. The talented Jeanne Added will play her exclusive acoustic show on a solo stage in an exceptional setting. It will be followed by a trendy electro pop program to make the public dance until 1am on an open dancefloor.
THE LINEUP:
JEANNE ADDED: In 2015, Jeanne Added released her first album with the premonitory title "Be sensational". With the public, the press is love at first sight, immediate success. Jeanne Added dazzles, stuns. The stars still shine for having heard it. In May 2018, she released "Mutate" the first title of a much awaited second album. This piece is an arrow piercing the heart Magistrale, always, the voice of Jeanne Added draws here in undulating shades that explore with epidermic emotion, contagious, vertigo and the promises of life.
MO LAUDI: DJ and South African producer but also legend of the Afro House will play this Friday night from 19:30 to Altra Casa on an ice machine trailer! His first EP "Paris Afro House Club" is a very experimental album, the journey of an artist from South Africa presenting his weekly London evening with Afro-house and Afro-electronica.
Ruba KPØ: electronic quartet from the south of France, is signed on the eclectic and legendary Berlin label Sonar Kollektiv. After the release of their latest EP "We are world", the collective is preparing an album with multiple influences that will be released very soon on their label. Now based in Nice, Paris and Oslo, their ever-eclectic DJ sets meet weekly on artyRadio Nova Oslo as well as a bimonthly collaboration on Radio Meuh and Le Mellotron.
RENO: True supplier of grooves, RENO has a real interest in this musical filiation between different styles of house where background soul, funk or disco is present and palpable.
Founding member of the NICO CLAP Nights which make the Nice sun shine even at night, Reno also played alongside Marcellus Pittman, Fred P. AKA Black Jazz Consortium, Lazare Hoche, Nick V, Hugo LX, Aleqs Notal, Kiddy Smile, at parties such as Les Jardins Suspendus, FACE, MONA, or for the Crossover Festival.
