64th Edition of Monte Carlo TV Festival Closing
18 JuneThe 64th edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival concluded this evening with an emotional closing ceremony hosted by Ricky Whittle and Shy'm in the Salle des Princes of the Grimaldi Forum. The evening was attended by Their Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Monaco, who came to greet the winners and present several major awards before an audience composed of broadcasting personalities, institutional partners, media outlets, and fans from around the world. Eighteen programs from twelve countries were in official competition. Among them were four world premieres, seven international premieres, and two French premieres, reflecting the diversity and richness of contemporary television creation. Following the deliberations, the prestigious Golden Nymphs were awarded this Tuesday, June 17. The Prince Rainier III Special Prize was awarded to the documentary Rewilding Sharks, a co-production between CNA and Kraken Films, which was praised for its powerful storytelling and commitment to environmental preservation. The AMADE Prize was awarded to the documentary Children in the Fire (Ukraine/USA).The Monaco Red Cross Prize was awarded to L'Ange de Boutcha (France).
