The Casino de Monte-Carlo wins the "Community Award" For its #StrongTogether movement

Already doubly rewarded this year with the title of "Casino of the year", awarded for the 2nd year by the Global Gaming Awards and that of "Best Gaming Operator UK & Europe 2020" awarded by the International Gaming Awards, the Casino de Monte -Carlo closes this year of recognition from his peers with a "Community Award", awarded on November 18, 2020 by the Industry Gaming Awards. A prize that rewards the commitment of Monaco casinos to the community, during the health crisis, with the solidarity movement created around #StrongTogether in March 2020.

At the start of the Covid-19 health crisis last March, the teams at the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer casinos launched #StrongTogether. More than a hashtag, a real solidarity movement, with a message of hope, with the colors of Monaco as a backdrop, dedicated to the community. #StrongTogether will be deployed on March 27, 2020 on the facade of the Casino de Monte-Carlo, like a "beacon in the night", according to Pascal Camia, General Manager of Games. Supported by the Presidency and the entire Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Group, #StrongTogether quickly gained unanimity and generated the commitment of the Monegasque community. Under the leadership of HSH Prince Albert II, Monegasque employees, residents and institutions are rallying to the movement, spreading the message. National momentum is created. And with social networks and it is expanding beyond borders.

With this "Community Award", the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Group is rewarded Under the #StrongTogether banner, charitable actions are set up by the employees of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer Group, to support caregivers and other Monegasque entities involved on the front line in managing the Covid-19 health crisis. Fundraising is organized, meals are prepared by employees, in the Group's kitchens and delivered to staff at the Princess Grace Hospital Center and retirement homes in Monaco. It is this movement initiated by the Casino de Monte-Carlo, supported by the entire SBM Group, which was awarded the "Industry Community Awards" on November 18, in the "Community Award" category. An initiative that made the difference with those carried by the other finalists in the running - casinos, hotels & resorts - part of the international gaming industry.
